The Royse City Chamber of Commerce will spotlight Royse City area businesses at its Boot Stompin’ Business Expo Friday, Feb. 24 at Southern Junction.

The event is held twice a year and will feature a variety of business booths and politician booths, a steak or grilled chicken dinner, door prizes, raffle, and live music by Rob Dixon and the Lost Cowboy Band. Complimentary beer will be served from 6 to 7 p.m.

“We have a lot of fun. It’s an excellent networking opportunity. We’ll have as many residents as we do business members. You get a great steak meal and every time I do one of these events everyone asks me when is the next one,” said Chamber Executive Director Shayna Levine.

Rockwall businesses Ridgepointe Athletic Club, Citibank, and Superior Lending will attend, along with Rockwall attorney Jack Robinson, Levine said. She had approximately five booths available Thursday but expected them to sell out.

Tickets to the event are $15 and attendees are encouraged to pre-purchase them. Tickets will also be sold at the door and pre-purchased tickets will also be held at the door. Levine said 238 dinner coupons were turned in at the last business expo.

Tickets may be purchased by sending an e-mail to or calling the chamber at 972-636-5000.
