The latest report from North Texas Real Estate Information Services Inc. indicated March saw 288 new listings in the county, one fewer than in February, although new listings are up 9 percent from where they were through March 2019.

There were 193 pending sales in March, down 9 percent from March of last year and the 176 closed sales last month represented a 9.7 percent reduction from the 195 conducted in March one year ago.

When it comes to available homes on the market, there were 638 homes for sale in Rockwall County in March, four more than what were available one year earlier.

The average sales price in the county in March was reported to be $331,271, representing a dip of $900 from March 2019. The median sales price of $296,766 reflected an increase of 2.9 percent from one year ago.

As of March, there was a 3.2 months inventory of houses for sale in Rockwall County, according to the report.
