Royse City will be a stop for the legendary country group Shenandoah, which is midway through its “30th Anniversary Tour.”

Shenandoah, which is celebrating three decades since the group first released its debut album in 1987, will be featured during Royse City’s Celebrating Freedom event on June 30 in the Royse City High School parking lot.

The event begins at 6 p.m.

The music lineup lists Zach Tressler of Royse City at 6 p.m., followed by Shenandoah at 7, and Big Gus and the Swampadelic at 8:15 p.m.

There will be no admission charge. Food will be available for purchase.

A free kids zone will be provided. Fireworks are scheduled for 9:30 p.m.

Participants are urged to bring chairs and to leave pets at home.

No alcohol will be allowed on the premises.

After Shenandoah performs at the Celebrating Freedom event, the group will be featured at 9:30 p.m. at Southern Junction Nightclub and Steakhouse, 5574 Highway 276, Royse City.
