An Arizona man was taken into custody in Royse City during this past weekend and has been charged with a list of about a dozen drug-related offenses.
Miguel Picire Kirkwood, 41, of Glendale, Arizona was reportedly arrested Saturday morning by officers with the Royse City Police Department.
As of Monday morning, Kirkwood remained in custody at the Hunt County Detention Center, where was being held on two counts of possession of a controlled substance Penalty Group 1, between four and 200 grams. Jail records indicate Kirkwood was charged with possession of cocaine and methamphetamine.
But that was just the start of the list.
Kirkwood was also charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance Penalty Group 1, less than one gram, heroin: seven counts of possession of dangerous drugs, which included Oseltamivirphos, Bromphenirpseudoeph, Methylprednis (4 milligrams), Lidocaine HCI (500 milligrams), Sulfamethoxazol, Cyclobenzapr (10 milligrams) and Acetaminophen with Codeine (30 milligrams).
Kirkwood was also charged with one count of possession of marijuana less than two ounces and one count of possession of a controlled substance in a correctional facility. As of Monday afternoon Kirkwood was being held in custody in lieu of a total of $186,000
Kirkwood had filed a writ of habeas corpus Monday with the 354th District Court, seeking the appointment of an attorney to represent him on the charges. A hearing on the writ had not been scheduled as of Monday afternoon.
