The Rockwall County Grand Jury has returned 42 felony indictments against 36 defendants this month.

A report released by the Rockwall County District Clerk named only 29 of the 36 defendants.

The district clerk’s office only releases names of defendants who have been arrested.

Indictments returned on July 9 in 382nd District Court named:

• Tiffany Monique Thomas, fraud use/possession of identifying information, and

• Betty Tucker Thomas, fraud use/possession of identifying information.

Indictments returned on July 9 in 439th District Court named:

• Sarah Jessie Cervantes, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, more than 4 grams, less than 200 grams;

• Gary Franklin, forgery of a financial instrument;

• Leticia Hernandez, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, more than 4 grams, less than 200 grams, and possession of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram;

• Fredricus Lee Reed, possession of marijuana, more than 4 ounces, less than 5 pounds;

• Johnnie Wayne Smith, theft of property, less than $1,500, two or more previous convictions;

• Tommy Paul Sparks Jr., interfere with emergency call with previous conviction;

• Jody Lee Spence, obstruction or retaliation;

• Brock Montae Tarrant, evading arrest/detention with previous conviction; and

• Melinda Marie Webb, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, more than 4 grams, less than 200 grams, and possession of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram.

Indictments returned on July 16 in 382nd District Court named:

• Bernard Kirk Barnes, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, more than 4 grams, less than 200 grams;

• Sohel Enam Chowdhury, credit card or debit card abuse elderly;

• Demarcus Lamar Fuqua, possession of marijuana, more than 50 pounds, less than 2,000 pounds;

• Amanda Lashun Glover, engaging in organized criminal activity;

• Cheryl Hawkins-Steward, engaging in organized criminal activity;

• Gary Wayne Jackson, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon;

• Adam Ray McCleskey, misappropriation of trust fund, more than $500 defraud;

• Tabitha Rose Prowell, possession of marijuana, more than 50 pounds, less than 2,000 pounds; and

• Albert Rodriguez, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, more than 4 grams, less than 200 grams.

Indictments returned on July 16 in 439th District Court named:

• Shannon Ledon Canady, forgery of a financial instrument;

• Pedro Edgar Castillo, assault family/house member impede breathing/circulation;

• Michael Brandon Hardin, forgery of government/national instrument/money/security and tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair;

• Charles Dean Knoerzer, fraud use/possession of identifying information;

• Darrell Gene Long, burglary of a habitation and possession of a controlled substance, more than 4 grams, less than 200 grams;

• Lauren Elizabeth Milam, tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair and forgery of government/national instrument/money/security;

• John Zackery Ramsden, forgery of government/national instrument, money or security;

• Michael David Rauth, burglary of a habitation and possession of a controlled substance, more than 1 gram, less than 4 grams; and

• Andrew Joshua Torres, aggravated sexual assault of a child.
