All Royse City Independent School District residents are invited to show their Bulldog spirit at a Community Pep Rally this afternoon.

The pep rally is scheduled for 6:30 in the Royse City High School stadium parking lot.

The homecoming week event will feature the Royse City High School band, cheerleaders, Gold Debs, football team and volleyball team.

Autographed pictures will be available.

Also, a youth rally will be held after the pep rally.

The Royse City Alumni Association Pre-Game Social is scheduled for 6 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

Light hors d’oeuvres prepared by the culinary arts students will be served.

The 2013 Royse City High School Distinguished Alumni will be announced Friday night.

The homecoming queen will be crowned at 7 p.m. Friday during pre-game festivities.

The king will be crowned at the homecoming dance Saturday night.

Queen candidates are Nathalie Barsoum, Alena Najara, Rebecca Sherman and Sayre Trette. King candidates are Cameron Caffee, Jay Milton, Jackson Watts and Parker Williams.

Other members of the homecoming court are Hannah Webb, junior princess, and Blain Hickman, junior prince; Bailey Swan, sophomore princess, and Clay Sherman, sophomore prince; and Makaya Brown, freshman princess, and Nick Perez, freshman prince.
