Richard Rauch, who was arrested Jan. 19 for online solicitation of a minor faces a further charge of sexual assault of Garland area 17-year-old girl.

According to Rockwall County Assistant District Attorney Bill Conrad, Rauch was indicted June 7 on a charge of sexual assault.

He was in the Rockwall County Jail Monday, where he has two bonds of $75,000 for the two online solicitation of a minor charges.

His announcement setting will be June 15.

Royse City police expected more victims would be named in an investigation where Rauch was recently arrested for soliciting two 13-year-old Royse City area girls on the Internet from his home, located just outside the Royse City city limits.

“We’ve known from the beginning that we had additional victims, but we haven’t filed anymore cases,” said investigator and Sgt. Jim Baker. of the Royse City Police Department.

Royse City and Dallas police officers and Federal Bureau of Investigations agents arrested Rauch Jan.19 in Royse City.

The 41-year-old is believed to have been involved in inappropriate Internet and cellular phone sexual conversations with juvenile females for the past several years, Baker said.

One of those is a Royse City teenage girl with whom Rauch is believed to have been having inappropriate sexual conversations in the last several months, Baker said. The case is still being investigated and the number of victims is still being determined, Baker said. Some victims may live in the Dallas and Fort Worth area, and there may be victims throughout the nation.
