City development is the focus of Tuesday night’s Royse City Council meeting.
The council is set to discuss and act on annexations and development agreements.
On the agenda is:
-- Two public hearings on voluntary annexations for a total of about 109 acres along FM 35 in both Hunt and Rockwall Counties
-- Discussion of presentation of proposed Creekside development
-- Discussion of proposed development agreement with Hines Acquisitions, LLC regarding Creekside development
-- Considering an amended and restated capital improvement agreement with GRBK Edgewood, LLC regarding Parkside Village
-- Considering an act authorizing the city manager to accept and enter into development agreements for 53.871 acres along CR 2526
-- Considering an ordinance regarding annexation of up to 144.891 acres along CR 2526 in Hunt County
-- Discussion concerning the development of future subdivisions
-- Discussion concerning the city manager’s update about development
In other business, the council will consider and act on a rerate notice from the city staff’s medical benefits provider for the 2019-2020 plan year. During the council’s executive session, they will have a discussion regarding the purchase, exchange, lease or value of property in Rockwall County.
The council meets July 9 at 7 p.m. in the Police and Courts Building, 100 W. Main St., in Royse City.
