The Royse City freshman Bulldogs football team is on a winning streak. The Bulldogs won their third consecutive game over the Quinlan Ford Panthers 38-18 last Thursday night at Bulldog Stadium.

Royse City rushed for 266 yards and four touchdowns, passed for 15 yards and a touchdown and returned a punt for a touchdown in the game.

Quarterback Preston Corbin led all rushers with 151 yard and three touchdowns off of 11 carries. Ryan Fedric scored a touchdown and also rushed for 40 yards in seven carries. Lewis Mapps had 40 yards on nine carries, Dalton Wiley carried the ball three times for 15 yards and Malcom Rauch had one carry for ten yards.

Stetron Cathcart had an 84 yard punt return for a touchdown and also had two carries for eight yards.

Chance Tosh, Austin Ragsdale and Corey Nixon all had one reception in the game with Ragsdale scoring off of a six yard touchdown reception.

Hunter Stafford recovered a fumble, while Wesley DeBona caused a fumble in the game. Armando Perez and Brantley Erbe helped lead the defense in the Bulldogs third victory of the season.

Bulldog JV wins 42-20

Scotty Arterberry and Trevor White helped lead the Bulldog junior varsity to their fourth victory of the season as they defeated Pittsburg 42-20.

White scored three touchdowns on runs of one, 20 and 12 yards. Arterberry had two touchdowns rushing of one and nine yards while tossing a touchdown pass to Dalton McAden for 23 yards.

Justin Jacobs intercepted a Pittsburgh pass and returned it 15 yards for a touchdown to help put the game out of reach in the final quarter.

Pittsburg took an 8-7 first quarter lead, but the Bulldogs took a 21-14 lead at halftime and never trailed again in the game.

Lee Humphries converted every extra point with a successful point after kick.

Cameron Pitts, Eddie Mancias, Jeremy Giblaint, Ty Young and Angel Hernandez turned in exceptional defensive efforts during the game for the Bulldogs. Pitts recorded a sack for a 14 yard loss in the game.
