There were a lot of smiles, a few tears and plenty of memories to share in the Royse City High School library on Monday afternoon as Alicia Pille signed a letter of intent to play softball for the Division I Kansas Jayhawks. Pille, a four-year starting pitcher for the Lady Bulldogs, was joined by both her school coaches and the select coaches she played for growing up in the game. Pictured above are (front row, left to right); Shelby Pille, Dean Pille, Alicia Pille, Angela Pille, Austin Pille, (back row) Kent Wittenauer, Michelle Booker, Dallas Bookout, Brian Menefee and Phillip McCloud.
